The seven stars.

Once there lived seven men.They were the strongest men in the village.There were seven wicked ladies in a forest close to the village.
One evening, they went for a big walk. They heard someone walking towards them.They got their sticks out, but it was just seven ladies. The seven ladies bent down and swished their hands at the men. The youngest brother turned into a kereru, and it put a net over the ladies. It took the netful of ladies into the sky and there, the ladies  turned  into the Matariki stars.
